Jami Jones, president/owner of Longhouse Inventory Solutions, Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) / Airport Concessionaire Disadvantage Business Enterprise (ACDBE) certified in all 50 states plus Puerto Rico. Longhouse Inventory Solutions (LIS) provides rental car companies with supplies.
In 2009, Jami started LIS with one product, child safety seats. Families renting cars need child safety seats. Rental car companies needed someone to maintain inventory and keep up with safety recalls. A Native American female wanting to pursue her own business, Jami took the opportunity to provide thousands of seats yearly to several rental car locations.
Previously, a registered nurse, Jami used her skills to determine what kind of inventory would be needed and the amount of product to bring into LIS.
Car Wash Products
Disinfectants and car wash products come in a pod system. Shipping water is expensive, so this is a better way to distribute products. The color-coded system minimizes mistakes being made by matching the pod with the correct colored bottle used for the specific product.
Ice Scrapers
Ice scrapers and snow brushes are also needed within the rental car industry. Orders for winter
products start in mid-August and continue through March. We ship thousands of snow brushes
to the northern locations including Canada.
